I read that you get a 10 hour/14 day GW/factions trial key code when you pre-order nightfall. Right now, I don't own factions, but I'll probably buy Nightfall when it comes out. So here is my question.....

What happens if I get the 10 hour factions trial, take my Proph. character over to Cantha, and do some quests to unlock skills? Do I lose those skills after my trail period is up? How about buying Cantha armor?

Just curious because I'm not a big fan of asian themed RPGs, and this might be a good way for me to get the elite skills that I'd like from factions. :P

Canthan armor will stay equipped and workable after it expires (my characters kept their armor in the window between the early access and the time when I got my copy of factions), skills will be locked.

thanks for the armor info but i knew the skills were out

THERE WAS A GRACE PERIOD WHICH MIGHT ACCOUNT FOR YOUR ARMOR

I don't think you can apply the trial codes to existing accounts; pretty sure you have to use them to make a new one.
